Q: What is 1st Net On-Line Banking?
A: 1st Net lets you do your banking right from your PC at home or in the office. You now have access to all your banking information through the Internet. It's as easy as point and click. The safe and secure way to bank from your PC is now available at First National Bank of Muscatine. You can access our 1st Net On-Line Banking service through our website at  www.fnbmusc.com. You can even take a test drive to see how easy it is.

Q: What can I do with 1st Net On-Line Banking?
A: You can check balances, review account histories, transfer funds between accounts, view check images, request stop payments, order bonds and change addresses. You'll also be able to pay bills online.

Q: What equipment will I need?
A: You can access 1st Net from any computer (PC or Macintosh) that has Internet access and a Web browser with 128-bit security, such as Netscape Navigator 4.0 or higher or Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0 or higher. If your browser does not meet these requirements, you will have the option to upgrade your browser free of charge via a web-site link on our 1st Net sign-on page.

Q: Can I access my accounts from more than one computer?
A: Yes. You can use any computer that has Internet access and a browser with 128-bit security. That means you can pay bills and access your account at home, at work, or from a laptop when you are out of town. Business customers will have greater restrictions over the number of computers they may use to access their account information.

Q: How do I enroll for 1st Net On-Line Banking?
A: You may enroll on-line at  www.fnbmusc.com or stop by any First National Bank of Muscatine office and pick up a handy enrollment form. You may also call our Personal Banking department at 563-263-4221 (8 - 5, Monday - Friday) and they will send you an enrollment form or set up an appointment for you to stop in.

Q: Which accounts can I access?
A: Checking, savings, money market, certificates of deposit, and loan accounts can be accessed through our 1st Net On-Line Banking system. Transfers may be made between checking, savings, and money market accounts. You can even make payments on your First National Bank of Muscatine loan via 1st Net.

Q: How current is the on-line statement information?
A: When you connect to 1st Net, you will have access to information on all of your account activity for approximately the last 45 days. The on-line information is current as of the last posting and displays all activity conducted through the bank such as electronic deposits and cleared checks, plus transactions at ATMs and merchant point-of-sale terminals.

Q: Will I still receive a monthly statement?
A: Yes. As always, a statement will be mailed to you for your records.

Q: How secure is 1st Net On-Line Banking?
A: An outstanding feature of this system is its multiple security levels. First National Bank of Muscatine uses a combination of the latest security technologies to protect data. It features password-controlled entry,  Veri-Sign issued Digital ID for the on-line server, Secure Socket Layer (SSL) protocol for data encryption and state-of-the-art firewall protection. The Electronic Funds Transfer Act (Regulation E) applies to On-Line Banking just like our ATM card, and your liability on unauthorized electronic transactions is limited to $50.00 for transactions that are reported within 2 business days of after you learn of the loss, theft, compromise, or unauthorized use of your password.
Please note: You will not be accessing the bank's host computer. When you request access for this service your account information for 1st Net On-Line Banking will be hosted on a separate server with all the appropriate firewalls and multiple layers of protection described above.

Q: How much does it cost?
A: Accessing account information through On-Line Banking is free to all personal account customers.

Q: Are there charges for other on-line banking services?
A: Yes. Our personal Bill Payment service keeps you from writing checks, buying stamps and the hassle of mailing. Bill Pay comes with a 60-day FREE trial period. After 60 days you can pay bills for less than 50 cents per payment for the first 10 payments (billed at $4.95 per month). Additional bills paid over 10 are 35 cents each.

Q: Which bills will I be able to pay through Bill Payment?
A: You can pay almost anyone with a valid address in the United States -- from utilities to credit cards, to your paperboy.

Q: How long does it take for bills to be paid?
A: Electronic payments will be paid within 2-3 days of posting. Paper draft payments will reach the payee in 5 to 8 days. The Bill Payer screen will indicate whether the payee is set up to receive an electronic payment.

Q: Which accounts may I access?
A: You may access any account on which you are an authorized signer. Simply complete the 1st Net enrollment form indicating which accounts you would like to access via on-line banking. This form may be completed on-line at www.fnbmusc.com or stop by any First National Bank of Muscatine office and pick up an enrollment form.

Q: What if I forget my password?
A: If you forget your 1st Net password, you can call the Electronic Services Department Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at 563-262-4220 to have your password reset. You'll be asked to provide personal information that will verify your identification. Your password will then be reset and you will be given instructions to proceed. You will also have the ability to change your password on-line whenever you wish.
